AKETH PIRATES
The AKETH PIRATES Art Museum is an innovative educational proposal of the AKETH PIRATES group, which harnesses the power of digital technologies to bring students closer to art and culture. It is an interactive digital museum where users can virtually browse selected works by great painters such as Leonardo da Vinci, Vincent van Gogh, Claude Monet and Pablo Picasso. The experience is enriched with quizzes, exploration activities and the use of QR codes, enhancing students' active participation and turning learning into a creative game.
The project combines elements of art, history, technology and pedagogy, offering a multi-sensory experience that enhances the aesthetic culture, observational skills, visual-spatial perception and cultural literacy of the participants. It is an excellent example of how STEAM education can be connected to culture, offering students access to art in an innovative and inclusive way.
The AKETH PIRATES Art Museum was presented on Saturday 03/02/2024 at the workshop “STEAM Education and Innovation”, at the “Tsitsanis” Museum, for teachers of all levels and students, organized by the Primary Education Directorate of Trikala in collaboration with AKETH.
